A big thank you to the great team of volunteers who helped to run a very smooth event today. We were very lucky to have such an enthusiastic manager of Ransom Wood Business Centre, Charles Cannon, who permitted us to use the warm room and facilities.

Planner's comments

Thanks to everyone who came to the event and hope you enjoyed the courses. A special thanks to Steve as the controller helping me through my first event as planner and also to Keith Streb for frantically updating the map throughout the past few months as work was done in the area. We were quite surprised when we went to the area to find half a hill gone at one point! A final thanks to all the control collectors who helped with a quick finish to the day.

Controller's comments

Strawberry Hill is not the easiest area to plan on, with brambles gorse and deep sludge in places. You will be thankful that Ben's courses avoided the worst of the area. His courses were well received and he only needed gentle nudges from me as the controller.

Thanks to all helpers from the different clubs and to all competitors for getting back well before the cut off time. It helps make for a very smooth event.
